Great product for the money and suitable for children ages 5 and up.
This product is honestly better than what Amazon charges. The box states ages 3 and up, but if you want your child to really understand it, they must be at least 5 years old. It comes with a USB charging cord, although it appears to be already charged when you receive the robot.
If you don’t already have it, go to your local 7-Eleven. I have never downloaded the app. There are a lot of buttons, but the remote control is fairly easy to use even after a little manipulation, especially for small children, which takes a second. The robot is very interactive with voice commands. The manual is informative and detailed. Great product, value for money. My niece was very happy.

I wanted to put batteries in it when I gave the gift this Christmas, but wasn’t sure of the size or quantity. I could not find a clear answer in the queue so I wrote an email to Ruko customer service. To my surprise, within a day I received multiple emails to a wonderfully helpful agent named Elaine who was happy to answer my questions.

The perfect toy for children
I decided to buy this toy for my daughter. I can honestly say that I was impressed. Unrevived Dead Robot Day 2
Dead!!! So cute for my 5 year old autistic girl who is obsessed with robots until the first charge wears off. I gave it to her as a Christmas gift. Before wrapping it, I opened the package to try it out and follow the instructions to charge it, but I wanted her to remove all the batteries, charged and difficult package before wrapping it. She opened it on Christmas Eve and played with the remote control. It talked, walked, and danced.
She had other new toys that she played with as well as the proper way. On Christmas Day, she played with it some more until the charge ran out. I recharged it using the charging cord that came with it and when I turned it on again, it died with her name on it. For the price, I should have bought a Mico from Costco! I will be back.

Not worth the money.
The charging port stopped working after about 3 months. If you repeatedly move it in small increments or lie down at just the right angle, it will charge, but it is very frustrating. Overall, it works and makes sound, but I am not impressed with the interaction for the price.

Price much too high, otherwise fantastic robot!
I love this robot. I had fun playing with it and trying out all the neat features. Using Bluetooth with the remote control and my phone app works well. Dancing, singing and programming all worked well. Does not work well on carpet, but works well on laminate floors. I tried it on a flat, flat pile carpet and it was slow moving. In my opinion, this product is very overpriced even at the reduced price.
